Kenneth Wood was the designer and manufacturer of the Kenwood Chef launched in 1950 and other household goods. He was good at identifying household tasks that created the most amount of work and he developed machines to do those jobs. Within a few years of setting up his business he was one of Britain’s youngest millionaires. In 1968 his company, Kenwood Manufacturing was takeover by Thorn Electrical Industries.
